Special Education Local Plan Area

Currently, Twin Rivers is part of a Sacramento County multi-district Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) that provides services to special needs students throughout the region. We are the largest school district in the SELPA.To better meet the educational needs of our special education students, Twin Rivers Unified has decided to leave the multi-district model to become a single district SELPA.
